Indigo Adults Can Avoid Toxic Chemicals with Essential OIls

If you are an indigo adult like me, you are sensitive to chemicals, and, unfortunately, they are all around us in the current modern environment.

I will get light-headed walking down the supermarket isle with the “normal” mainstream cleansers, and the idea of bringing them into where I live seems like a terrible idea.

So one of the solutions I have found is to use essential oils to keep my space clean and bacteria free.

The following post comes from a colleague of mine from the massage industry. She sells Young Living Essential OIls.

This particular article is about Thieves Essential Oil Blend, which I love and have used to clear sickness, disinfect wounds and just to smell good!

I sort of feel like this post is a bit of a cop out, and if you think so, too, I apologize. It’s the holidays. I’m busy. But I didn’t want to NOT post something. I hope if you stay and read, that you enjoy and learn.

As always, feedback is appreciated, especially if any of you indigo adults have used Thieves. Share with us how you have enjoyed this oil blend!

Happy Holidays!

Protect Yourself With Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils
By Melodie Kantner

In the news each year we hear about the latest viruses going around and the vaccines that are supposedly going to offer protection, but every year the viruses mutate and grow more resistant and stronger. Antimicrobial products continually have to be upgraded and modified to stay ahead of the ever adaptable pathogens in our environment.

Dr. Valnet points out that pathogenic microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria do not become resistant to essential oils as they do to modern-day synthetic antibiotic drugs. He states, “Infectious microbes do not appear to become accustomed to the essential oils as they do to the many forms of treatment using antibiotics.”

One reason virus and bacteria cannot mutate with the essential oils is because of the chemical constituents that make up essential oils. One essential oil can have anywhere from 200- 800 chemical constituents. It is impossible for a virus to mutate and adapt to that many
chemical constituents. Drugs are made by isolating one or two constituents. A virus can easily mutate and adapt to the drug, making it useless.

“Diseases, viruses, bacteria and fungi are plaguing America and the world. Antibiotics and synthetic antiseptics have created super germs. In fact, traditional medicine is becoming ineffective against these new powerful pathogens. In my opinion, our only hope lies in essential oils.”

— Dr. David Stewart, an expert in Earth Sciences, Natural Medicine and Aromatic Science.

Blends like Thieves and Exodus II (and the accompanying supplement Exodus) I always have on hand, along with other single oils – such as peppermint, clove, lemon, oregano, lavender, only to name a few.
When illness strikes, you need to have them already on hand.

Bacteria are everywhere & some of it could be deadly. Common places that are thriving with bacteria: door knobs, elevator buttons, bathroom faucets, table tops, counter tops and the list goes on. This bacteria is spread in many ways. You pick it up whenever you touch anything.

During cold & flu season and we are exposed all kinds of flu viruses. Colds can be caused by over 100 different types of viral pathogens, and flu viruses continually mutate from year to year. This makes it difficult for you to develop immunity to these ailments.

Although many oils will protect, my number one favorite oil blend for protecting myself and my family . . .

THIEVES OIL BLEND (Order Code #3423)

Thieves is a “must have” for everyone, especially during the cold and flu season. It was created from research about the thieves during the 16th century plague in England who rubbed oils all over their bodies to protect
themselves while they were robbing the dead and dying.

It is a proprietary blend of pure essential oils tested at Weber State University for its potent germ killing properties. Thieves was found to have a 99.96 percent kill rate against airborne bacteria.

It’s very important, not only to rub oils on your body, because it increases the oxygen and increases the immune defense system, but to diffuse the oils in your home so the oils will kill aerosols, virus and bacteria.

That’s where I really like to encourage people to look at how they can diffuse the oils in their homes and clear up the aerosol problems that we deal with.”

Hundreds of Scientific Reports Confirm Antimicrobial Action of Essential Oils in “Thieves Blend ”

In recent years (1987-2001) a large number of essential oils and their
constituents have been investigated for their antimicrobial properties…
in more than 500 reports.

** Testing from Weber State University, found Thieves to
have a 99.96 percent kill rate against airborne bacteria.

** Highly concentrated, a drop or two works wonders.

** Eliminate airborne bacteria by diffusing Thieves in your
home and office. Diffuse only 10 minutes a.m. and p.m.

** Essential oils of spices and herbs (Thyme, Oregano, Mint, Cinnamon, Sage and Clove) were found to possess the strongest antimicrobial properties among the many tested.”
(D. Kalemba; A. Kunika. Current Medicinal
Chemistry. Vol. 10, No. 10. pg. 813-829. abstract.)

** Save money by reducing doctor bills!!!

germs you picked up on doorknobs or shopping cart

school to protect them. Most people have discovered that
they can use Thieves, undiluted on their feet because the
skin is thicker and less sensitive.

- Apply directly to upper chest and throat for bronchitis.

- Apply to cold sores to help them heal.

- Mix 50:50 with vegetable oil for relief of shingles

- Put a drop on a wound to prevent infection.

Here’s how to follow The Indigo Adults (my blog) without checking back every day

Time seems to go faster and faster, doesn’t it?

I’m sure there is an indigo adult out there that will say that it actually IS GOING FASTER on a quantum level, but regardless… I think everyone is looking to get more productivity out of their time.

And as New Year’s approaches, what better time time to assert better time management in the coming year?

If you’re not already using Google Reader, let me tell you that it is a great way to go through literally thousands of articles you are interested in, in the time it used to to take to go through a newspaper.

Here’s how to follow The Indigo Adults (my blog) without checking back every day:

This Post/Page is here to help you simplify your life by learning a technique for taking in an enormous amount of information… thousands of articles, in less than an hour.

I learned this from last year’s Thirty Day Challenge… A wonderful program that gave me a better scope of the Internet (which I already knew quite a bit about) while getting my methods more streamlined and optimized and leveraging my time I spend on the computer. I highly recommend participating in this year’s 30 Day Challenge. It’s free (their slogan is “There is no charge for Awesomeness” and it truly is awesome.

Anyway, the Google Reader lesson was particularly valuable for me because before I understood how to leverage RSS readers, I was quite frustrated with the fact that I had so many friends with great blogs but no way to know when they had posted. Nor did I want to keep reminding myself to check back every few days to see if there was a new post.

So here’s what you do.

  • If you don’t have a Google Account, set one up. This will give you access to a lot of excellent Google Applications including Gmail, Picasa, etc, but for our purposes we will be looking at Google Reader.
  • Once you have an account, sign in and go to your new Gmail account and at the top left you will see a bar of various links including “Reader”. Click on reader. This is your Google Reader account. Because your account is new, you don’t have any articles coming in yet, but when you do, this is where you will read them. You can click on “Add a Subscription” from this page and do a search for the RSS of the site you want to follow, or you can go to step 3.
  • Go to a blog that you want to follow. I’m using Safari, so I will describe to you how to do it in Safari. All browsers are different. So lets say that you want to follow www.alwaystraveling.wordpress.com. You would type that into the address bar (where the http:// is) and to the right of the address you will see a blue box that says “RSS” click on that and you will then have the choice to “Add To Google Homepage” or “Add to Google Reader”. Click “Add to Google Reader”. By doing this, all posts to this blog will then show up on the page we were on in step 2.
  • When you want to read articles, open up the folder to the coresponding blog and then you can see all the titles of all the posts. You click on the title and get an intro of the post. If it sounds interesting to you, click on the title again and it will bring you to the blog to read the full article.
  • I hope this article saves you time and energy on the Internet.

I wrote this also with the intent that you RSS my blog so that you can keep up with what I am writing in an easy and convenient way.

Ed Dale and 30 Day Challenge go into it in much more detail here:

Indigo Adults, Abundance, Prosperity and “Financial Alchemy”

I received a coaching session with Morgana Rae last May that was really helpful to my perception of abundance and prosperity.

Her way of framing money by personifying it really helped me tap into the energy.

And as this site is very much about energy, I thought I should mention her to you.

You can get her free MP3 Audioclass: ““Six Proven Steps to be a Money Magnet” by CLICKING HERE.

I love getting her emails. I was actually on her mailing list for years before I spoke with her in May.

Here are two of her recent posts that I especially enjoyed.

Neuro Linguistic Pick Me Up which is about fast and easy ways to “reset” yourself when you need to, so that you can be in a better emotional space and enjoy your day!

And my even more favorite post “Money Likes and Dislikes” which I love, not only because it gives me clues to look for to see if I truly am connecting to my Money Honey, but also evidence that I AM connecting to him because I had found that my Honey had made many of the suggestions that she had referenced in this post.

If I were to analyze my thoughts of energetically what a money honey consists of, I would say it is something we call in magick called a Thoughtform. A thoughtform is an energy that is deliberately created by an individual to be helpful in one in a particular area of life.

In the Money Honey’s case, it is abundance.

I also like Morgana’s philosophy because it is so different from anything else I have seen relating to the subject of money. She makes the MH fun (although one as to get annihilate one’s previous relationship with a less supportive – and sometimes downright evil – personification of money before building the relationship with one’s new and wonderful MH).

If any indigo adults, pagans, psychic minds or others try out her services or buy any of her books, please let me know how you like it. I found myself very resistant at first… thinking that it was very silly, but once I dove in, I really liked it and found it tremendously helpful.

(PS: BTW, because if new FCC regulations I will from now on be letting you know whether I am an affiliate of whatever I am writing about on this blog. Yes, I am an affiliate of Morgana’s. But I dig her stuff, and purchased one of her workbooks long before I ever became an affiliate.)

Indigo Adults and Volunteer Work: The Gift of Energy and Time

With Yule and Christmas this week and Hanukkah finishing up last weekend, hopefully there has been or will be much time of gathering with friends, family and loved ones.

Many of the ceremonies around this time involve a gift exchange, and that is beautiful.

I am going to also encourage you to give a bit of your time to an organization that could use your help that you feel is in alignment with your core.

What I mean is that if you are reading this, I believe that you are probably drawn to positivity and are a positive person yourself or are seeking to be more of a positive person.

I have spent many years very proud of the fact that I put out a positive vibration and that is how I contribute to the world.

But lately, I have realized that not only can I continue to put out this positive vibration, but I have more to give. More to give that I can give directly and through action.

One of these actions is writing this blog. Giving my knowledge and experiences with the hope that not only others can learn and perhaps understand their own experiences, but also so that I can hear other experiences and other pieces of wisdom that I may integrate into my own body of knowledge.

Many opportunities for me to volunteer have come up lately.

I am feeling drawn to several of these opportunities, which is odd for me because I haven’t felt drawn to participate in much of this activity in the past.

Plus, I always felt that if I did participate I would be focusing my energy on the problem and the solution.

But I tried it out last weekend. I went to a soup kitchen.

And I’m very glad I did.

I know it sounds cliche, but I really left with a sense of gratitude for the experience and for the awareness of how much I really do have. And I have a lot. And I appreciate all of it.

And I wanted to share this with you because I’m sure that if you’re like me you’re are thinking that to just hold a vibration is enough. And in a lot of ways it is.

But I think that just as mentioned in The Secret, we can sit and meditate forever but unless we take action on what we are meditating on, we will stay in the meditation phase and not reach the manifestation phase.

If you are donating money to causes that you believe in, that’s great. Why not continue to do that and also make a little time in your schedule to also take action on what you support monetarily?

For many out there that are not donating financially because they don’t have the means, this is a great way to give back without straining finanically.

I once went to a class that insisted that 10% of one’s check be given to charity in order to stay financially balanced.

Well, at the time that put a strain on me financially and was a big chunk of what I needed to survive.

But to give my time and energy is much more fulfilling, anyway, and does not cause any additional stresses in areas of my life that are (were) already under strain.

Finally, if you do choose to volunteer, make sure it is something that is in alignment with your core. Do you love animals? Children? The environment? Do you like feeding people? (C’mon all you Italians out there, you know you do if you’re anything like me or my Italian family!) ;-)

It should feel good to you? Maybe not like sunshine and roses all the time, but it should come naturally to you after a week or two of participating.

And if you are already out there on the front lines, taking action and volunteering your time and energy, I would love to hear your story and what inspires you to give in this way.

This post is really for everyone… Indigo adults, Muggles, psychic minds, empaths…

And as a side note… the energetic around the soup kitchen that I am participating in is quite lovely. Yes, it is a sad situation that many of the people that come to us are in, and ultimately we would be so happy if all the people that come to us now would NOT have to come to us because they can support themselves, but until then, I can feel the love and the gratitude from all that are involved, and it is quite beautiful.

And as an intuitive, that is probably one of the greatest gifts of all. To be part of this energy that is bigger than me with an intention that is so positive.

    Peace,

    Indigo Leslie

Added a page… to The Indigo Adults (blog)

    Hi There,

Not sure if pages come up in the RSS feed so I just wanted to let you know that I added a page.

It’s more of an “About Me” page, so I felt it should be more permanent than a post.

I also wrote it several months ago, as I was forming the idea for this blog, so if you’re a regular reader, you probably already know a lot of this stuff.

Here the new page: Who is this Indigo Adult?

    Indigo Adults: Experimenting with Telepathy

I have already posted once about Telepathy, psychic minds, and Indigo Adults, but here are a couple new items I have for you.

They both deal with “testing” one’s telepathic mind.

The first is a paper I came across about a month ago. I thought it would be good to post here.

A PRIMARY QUANTUM MODEL OF TELEPATHY

I like this paper because not only does it back up telepathy with scientific experimentation, but it also factors the observer (the experimenter) as one of the potential variables in the experiment.

By doing that, the researchers have expressed to me that they have a deeper understanding of telepathy. That the experimenter is giving off telepathic thoughts while observing the experiment.

I also find it interesting that the experimenters call two brains communicating telepathically “Entangled Brains”. HA! Well I guess the indigo adult community is a bit entangled, huh? LOL.

I think clearing energy helps with that, but I don’t think the parapsychologists that wrote this paper got that intricate with their experiment.

    Here are some excerpts:

“Even though some superphysical phenomena may be not real, telepathy does exist. Its usual display is
that one can perceive the other’s happening, say being sick or being injured etc, at a distance between the
familiar people, say twins, relatives or friends. Many people have this kind of experience.”

In the experiment conducted by Grinberg-Zylberbaum et al (Grinberg-Zylberbaum et al, 1994), pairs of
subjects were first allowed to meditate together, and then put into two semisilent Faraday chambers 14.5m
apart. Their EEG activities are registered by two EEG machines. One subject of each pair was stimulated by
100 flashes at random intervals, and each photostimulation resulted in an evoked potential for the
stimulated subject. It is observed that, when the stimulated subject showed distinct evoked potentials, the
nonstimulated subject showed “transferred potentials” similar to the evoked potentials in the stimulated
subject, at the same time, the subjects both felt their interaction had been successfully completed.”

“…six channels electroencephalogram (EEG) were recorded simultaneously from pairs of separated human subjects in two acoustically and electromagnetically shielded rooms. Even though the “transferred potentials” is not found in the experiment, the correlations between brain electrical activities of two spatially separated human subjects are also observed using a more complex method of data analysis. Since the subjects were separated by the soundproof Faraday chambers in the above experiments, these experiments guarantee that neither sensory signals nor electromagnetic signals is the means of communication, and thus strictly confirms the existence of nonlocal correlations and nonlocal communication between human brains.”

If you are interested in doing your own “experimentation” with telepathy (or telekinetics), I will refer you to the second item I have found for this post.

There is an item on SkyMall called “Telekinetic Obstacle Course” and that “uses your focused brain waves to maneuver a ball through an obstacle course.”

“As you relax and concentrate, the headband sends a wireless signal (based on your mental commands) to the game’s air fan, which increases or decreases its speed, suspending or lowering a foam ball through one of eight obstacles, including hoops, teeter-totters, baskets, or chutes.”

Interesting stuff. For more info click here.

And if any indigo adults, psychic minds or even muggles order this, please leave a comment as to how it worked below.

    Peace,

    Indigo Leslie

Ow, my Aching Head! Someone’s Thinking About this Indigo Adult

    He’s thinking of me…

    I know he is.

How do I know? My head hurts. Like, MASSIVE headache.

But I’m hydrated, haven’t eaten anything weird in the last 48 hours, and have no reason to have a head ache.

Except that I know that whenever I am about to see him I usually start to get a headache about 24 hours beforehand.

    And nausea. Lots of nausea.

It’s unfortunate because there are some people in my life whom I love… and I mean I LOVE… them, yet it’s hard for me to interact with them because our vibration is so different.

My field starts to acclimate about 24 hours beforehand, but that acclimation can sometimes feel like a trauma to the body.

I can usually clear this away with an energy grounding and clearing exercise, but with him I can’t. He has a powerful mind and presence. He is an indigo adult and such a beautiful light in this world. And he’s a powerful thinker… When his thoughts are on me, I know it immediately and completely.

In considering this topic some more, I actually think it is the heaviness around him that is what I am feeling. It’s in his field from his surroundings. It’s not him.

That’s just a hypothesis. I don’t really know for sure.

Either way, it creates an interesting effect.

If you ever pick up on aches, pains or strange feelings in your body but don’t know where it’s coming from, you could potentially be reacting to someone’s thoughts being on you.

Have any psychic minds or indigo adults reading this had any experiences like this? Please share…

    Peace,

    Indigo Leslie

Indigo Adults, Exercise and Clearing Energy

About a month ago I wrote a series of articles about indigo adults using substances and the energetic effects of these substances.

For example, I sometimes use alcohol to clear my own energy field when clearing it mentally is not working as well.

I do not encourage the use of substances and can see how they can get problematic, but I also want so show the positive effects on the energy field.

By stating the positive effects not only can individuals use the substance as a tool or understand why they are over-using a particular substance, but also find better tools that are more healthful.

One of those tools is exercise.

I have been told by one psychic that exercise does not clear energy, but I disagree with that.

Vigorous cardio exercise will usually shake off “stuff” that is attached to me, and if I exercise on a regular basis, my improved fitness level usually prevents other peoples’ lower vibrations from sticking to me.

It works even better if you are performing the exercise in natural surroundings.

Have other indigo adults found this to be true? Please leave your thoughts and comments below!

    Peace,

    Indigo Leslie

    Mercury Retrogade and Gift Giving

Just a short note for you to keep in mind over the holidays…

Mercury goes retrograde on the 26th of December…

Perfect for reconnecting with people you haven’t seen in a while, not so perfect for buying gifts, especially electronics.

“Mercury is about to retrograde too, from December 26 to January 16, so that will create a much slower pace during the year-end holidays. Mercury retrograde is not a time to sign contracts, to launch new ventures, or to form new associations and partnerships. Wait out this period and enjoy the social side of your life as you do.

Mercury’s slowdowns will be noticeable as early as December 9, the day you should give yourself as your finish date for holiday shopping. Certainly you should never buy a computer or any other expensive electronic during a Mercury retrograde, so get those early in the month. “

    - Aquarius Horoscope for December 2009 from www.astrologyzone.com

Sometimes if you can clear as much of the planetary energy away during a retrograde (or pre-retrograde) period, you will be able to purchase the item without Merc. Retro affecting it.

But only do this you really, really don’t have the option of putting off the purchase until after Mercury has gone direct.

SIDE NOTE: Astrology Zone has great monthly forecasts. I have been a regular reader for years and I highly recommend it!
