Have any other Indigo Adults Experienced Black Tourmaline?

Here is the stone that I have totally fallen in love with, and believe other indigo adults will to (if you haven’t already)…

Black Tourmaline!

This is going to be a short post because I will have plenty of links at the end of this post where you can go find some wonderful additional information.

But let me just tell you, I started wearing this stone about 2 weeks ago during a particularly trying time.

Since then, I have noticed that a lot less has been sticking to me energetically.

Seriously, it is so cool! I feel like I’m untouchable psychically (whether or not that’s true is another story, but I feel a lot better) by those that like to hook in (like my FORMER housemate, who did unhook a few days after I started to wear black tourmaline and wasn’t able to rehook since!)

And the coolest part has been that I have become keenly aware of those that do not have my best intentions in their heart. Or who are threatened by my progress toward my joy.

What black tourmaline typically does is neutralize that energy and then change it into empowering positive energy for the wearer.

It’s sooooo cool!

It’s also helpful to leave around the house to protect the space.

Two side notes for black tourmaline

  • You have to cleanse black tourmaline… so either run it under cold water, hold it in the smoke from white sage, or do as I do, and leave it next to selenite which cleanses crystals that are nearby.
  • When black tourmaline is heated a tourmaline crystal develops opposing electrical charges at opposite ends. I have just noticed that electrical equipment has gone a bit wacky these last couple weeks and I’m wondering if it’s from being in close proximity to the black tourmaline. So you might want to treat black tourmaline like a magnet, and keep it away from items you would protect from magnets.
  • For some reason, I was very resistant to the suggestion that I needed this crystal. There is a gem shop that I go to and I trust their opinion so much that I will let their instinct override my own (which rarely ever happens normally), and in this case it was VERY, VERY good that I took the suggestion. So if you feel yourself strongly resisting the black tourmaline, you might actually be greatly helped by it.
  • I felt that the first week I wore black tourmaline was a bit of a challenge because as I felt heavier energies pull out of me, I became a bit uncomfortable. Sometimes when things dislodge, it feels like a physical pulling. Other times, I find that something will unhook as I briefly take on/embody (and release) the energy that is/was hooking. It can lead to very erratic behavior. So just wanted to give you a heads up on that, incase you DON’T feel good or feel weird or a little unstable the first week you use black tourmaline.

And this is the best price I’ve found online for the big pieces:

Finally, I gifted this stone with a clear crystal quartz (it was a pendant that combined the two) and the indigo adult said that not only did she feel increasingly better after a week, she was able to get off anti-depressants and she felt “her life really turned around once she started wearing the pendant.”

I was so happy for her and I still am!

Any indigo adults have any experiences with black tourmaline? Would love to hear from you! Please leave comments below…
