A while back I posted about my experiences and perception about Sedona, Arizona from an indigo adult/emapth/energetic perspective.

That was 2 years ago…

One year ago I moved to Sedona to go to film school and my perception of Sedona became more refined.

Here is what I learned.

Sedona is a place of being, not doing. It is a great place to go and contemplate what you want to manifest in life.

But then it is best to leave and go do it somewhere else. Not to attempt to get it done there.

The reason for this is that (1) it is a place of being. The act of doing takes initiation energy and an attachment to outcome that the energy in Sedona does not support.

The very act of being attached to something earthly is not supported by Sedona.

Throughout my year there, I saw my dog almost die a couple times, one of my favorite activities in the world (directing and producing) became my most despised (but I’m liking it again.. now that I moved away), my apartment flooded and I had to get rid of all of my stuff, I almost had to move back home with the ‘rents because my financial aid didn’t come through, and the friends that I loved and trusted lied and abandoned me.

I say this not to complain, because in the midst of all of this (all this happened within one year) I have climbed out of the cavern that is Sedona and am back on the earth plane and find myself more relaxed than before I lived there because my s**t hit the fan so much while I was there (and Sedona seemed to be emotionally amplify all the situations as well) that it feels now that I am coasting along with not much to feel attached to or worry about.

Of course I still care about things and am attached to things, which I don’t think is a bad thing, as we are living on the earth plane and being attached to our creations is not only part of being in the physical, it is part of creation itself (though there is a balance that must be struck in manifesting between attachment and detachment – a sweet spot that is optimal for manifestation to occur).

The natives that lived in Sedona for thousands of years before the white people got there did not actually live in Sedona. They lived on the outskirts and would go in to Sedona to do their spiritual work and then they would leave.

When I first moved there I did not understand why this was, but now I know. It is spiritually exhausting bumping up against one’s stuff all the time.

And everyone has stuff… no matter whether you are operating from the first chakra or the 14th.

In my last post I compared Sedona to Alice in Wonderland, which is still accurate, but I also started to think of it more as heaven/hell on earth.

I believe non-physical spirits experience “life” (or whatever is “being” to them) in a very empathic way. They can have wants and the universe will respond to them. Manifestation is fast, but in both a good and bad way.

In Sedona, I also had some very wonderful things happen. Manifestation was fast and it was great when it was what I wanted. I also did feel very sheltered from the lower vibrations of the “normal” world, and it was always a bumpy transition back to this “normal” world when I had to go.

But I also felt somewhat cut off from the “normal” world. Like Sedona was its own dimension and trying to connect or live like the world above (I always think of it as above because of that long drive down 89A from Flagstaff) was not possible, in the same way that it is not possible for those who have passed on to connect with the non-physical.

Regardless of the ups and downs I experienced in that city, it was a tremendous learning experience. I can’t say I would move back there in a permanent way, and I do feel that most of the people that live there long term do lose touch with the “normal” world after a while, but I could see myself cleaning up my energy field a bit by hanging out in Sedona for a month or so from time to time.

My advice to Indigo Adults: I do not recommend moving to Sedona, AZ and if you try to move there and you are not meant to be there, ‘she’ WILL spit you out (after a year, I’m glad she spit me out, though I did question my spiritual/energetic purity when it happened). But DO visit. I think that would be the most beneficial and pleasant for you. Do your inner work there and enjoy it and then come back up to planet earth with the rest of us and get stuff done.

By the way, if you do get ‘spit out’ it means that there is a more positive place for you than hanging out in the dream world that is Sedona. It means you have work to do on this planet, which is true. You wouldn’t have incarnated here as an indigo adult/child if you didn’t have real, physical, hands-in-the-grimy-earth things to do on this planet. It is much more easy for us to live in our head, but we need to put action to those thoughts if we are going to fulfill our mission and improve the state of this planet.

~ Peace ~

Last night I was in Uptown Sedona at a public film event and a woman came up to me to say hi to my dog, Buddha.

When she learned the name of my dog, she asked if I went to the pet blessing that day at the Buddha Relic Tour.

I hadn't even heard of it, so she told me where it was and said it would be on for one more day in Sedona.

So I went there today and had no idea what was going on, but I do know what I felt and that was complete, all-encompassing unconditional love.

The Buddha Relics, officially called the Maitreya Project Heart Shrine Relic Tour, are “a collection of more than 1000 sacred relics of the Buddha and other Buddhist Masters”. After this tour, the relics will be “enshrined inside the heart of a magnificent Maitreya Buddha statue being built in Kushinagar, India.”

The relics are these tiny pearl substances (called ringsel) found in the ashes of the creamated Buddhist Master. They are not normally found in creamated ashes, but are left behind deliberately by Buddhist Masters to create cause for other in the world. They represent the love and compassion of that master.

These relics hold the incredibly high vibrations of the masters and to be in the presence of them is like being in the presence of Buddha.

I imagine it sounds a bit hokey reading this, and I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't been there, but it really is an amazing experience.

I sat in the room and meditated for over an hour. I received a blessing and my dog received a blessing. I definitely felt a shift during the blessing and the hour I spent meditating I just felt my heart opening and healing.

During my meditation, I would think of a person that I may not have comfortable or complete energy with, and initially I would feel that discomfort in my body, and then I would feel it dissipate out of my body and I would return to full openness.

This is the real deal, and I am so grateful for the experience.

Definitely check it out if you can! The relics are touring the world, and there are still stops to be made in the United States.

Here's more information on the project: http://www.maitreyaproject.org/en/relic/

Here are the tour locations and dates: http://www.maitreyaproject.org/en/relic/calendar.html

And here is a very beautiful article on the Maitreya Project's official website that talks about how they are bringing the relics to the worst neighborhoods and prisons to induce healing and compassion: http://www.maitreyaproject.org/en/relic/history.html

Please do visit the relics if you can! It's not just a blessing and healing for you, it is a blessing and a healing for the entire world, because by being in the presence of this extremely high vibration, you become closer to the vibration yourself. And by you carrying the higher vibration in the world, you help the world collective carry a higher vibration.

Peace,

Indigo Leslie

I have spoken with a lot of indigo adults who have had what they perceived to be U.F.O. or alien experiences.

I can't say whether these experiences are real or not, but here are a few of my own experiences.

I have dreamt a lot about aliens, starting in my late teens.

In one dream, I was in the alien spaceship and I remember being very scared and I was running away from them in the ship. Then, out of no where, one popped up in front of me.

I came face to face with it (which felt like a female). And as I gazed into her eyes, I became incredibly calm and happy. I felt that everything was going to be okay. And that's all I remember. And yes… it/she did kind of look like the typical alien face depicted on books like Communion or in South Park.

Recently, I had a dream where the aliens were dropping me off, and I distinctly remember them lifting off. I think that they were beaming something down from the ship because during the liftoff from Earth there was a distinct beam of light hitting the ground from the ship and then they disappeared.

In the last couple years I also started to have some experiences while awake.

I was once visiting Sedona and it was daytime. I was looking toward the distant red rock horizon and saw a small, shiny light in the distance. I thought it was someone hiking and trying to signal people in the distance with a mirror reflecting the sun, but then saw it shoot into the air and then disappear.

I didn't know what it was, but I was pretty resistant to saying it was an alien. I mean, I talk a lot about things that are a mystery to a majority on planet earth on this blog, and just the idea of acknowledging energy and thought goes beyond the normal discourse of the planet, but aliens just seem so wacky and 1960's kitsch.

The next month I was on a houseboat at a party and we were in the hot tub on the top deck of the boat. It was nighttime and we were all a little bit tipsy from wine.

After a while, the four of us saw this light over head in the distance, but still pretty close. It was triangular and we thought maybe it was a helicopter or several helicopters together but the lights never moved apart from each other. There were three lights that were marking the corners of the triangle. We didn't know what to make of it, so we just agreed it was the wine and helicopters and left it at that.

Then I saw this show on Larry King, where one of my heroes, Dan Aykroyd, was discussing aliens.

He was adamant and very specific about UFO details, and I was amazed, because even though I know he has been into the paranormal for a long time, I didn't know he was so vocal about it or felt so strongly that aliens existed. He felt that UFOs would not be benevolent toward the human race, which I found a bit disconcerting.

I enjoyed the show, but it still didn't do much to me to make me think that I had seen aliens.

Finally, I read an article on Stephen Hawkings saying that reiterated Aykroyd's sentiment, saying that aliens would probably be destructive (much like Columbus visiting the New World) and should be feared.

But I think that there is a key to all this…

I'm still baffled by the whole alien thing and not sure if they really exist, but I would say that through our intention we can connect with the ones that are good, if they are out there.

Aykroyd said that there are probably 23 species of aliens out there. My guess is that if that is true, it is probably like nations on this planet… Some are more peaceful than others and all have their own values.

So my philosophy is that if we mentally say, “I give permission to the peaceable and friendly alien forms to contact me if their intentions are positive and in alignment with my greatest good”, that that is likely to happen, if they exist.

If these beings have the technology to get here from so far away, then they most likely understand the technique of telepathy and will respond.

It could be compete B.S., but I have always felt that if the experiences I have had could have been real, and that these experiences have been with aliens that are gentle and good, and if that is true, I'm totally ok with continuing contact with those that are friendly and have positive intentions.

It also often remind me of the Native American spiritual practices of shamans going into the lower world (and the upper world, mind you) to gather information and understandings about the self.

That’s what this physical drive down Rt 89A feels like to me.

So I wasn’t surprised when I met an indigo adult the last time I was in Sedona.

I could tell because… We’ll I just could tell.

(Usually that’s just how things go when it comes to indigo adults… Would you agree?)

Anyway, she had lived in Sedona for 3 years and she was leaving because she had had enough of the energetic that IS Sedona.

We had started conversing because I had mentioned to her that I was debating between living in Sedona and living in Flagstaff.

Flagstaff is cool, but at that moment I saw living in Sedona like getting a PhD in spiritual awakening. Which draws me in, ya know.

The locals also say the “she” (Sedona) is quite capricious, beckoning you in one day and spitting you out the next. And she tests you unrelentingly because all of your “stuff” (both dreams and fears) are amplified and come up in rapid pace and without rest.

So this indigo adult said to me, “The question is, do you want to be in “it” constantly (the shit and the glory of what I think about on a daily basis), which can get a bit overwhelming, but is really quite an education on many levels, or you can live in Flagstaff and just come down for a little bit and then go back up and digest what you’ve learned. “
google_color_url = "";
//-->

I guess I chose to digest because I’m in Flagstaff now. But living in close proximity to “her” I have the grand opportunity to open up completely to my soul lessons, and then return to the “real” world.

I don’t think that anyone can NOT acknowledge energy if they stayed in Sedona for a month. They just couldn’t. It’s too powerful and too overt there. Even if there weren’t all these hippies around town talking about it, even the most grounded, earthplane-oriented person would have to acknowledge “something” was there.

And indigo adults, like us, tend to do well in higher vibrational locations, like Sedona.

I think it’s because we’re used to being in the 4th, 5th, 6th dimension rather than 1st, 2nd 3rd of the earth plane.

Not that it’s not important to learn the principles of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dimensions of the earth plane (as I have described in earlier posts about Las Vegas and New York.)

We indigo adults have a strong remembrance of the spiritual world, but we are here in this physical world, so maybe that’s why my higher self chose Flagstaff over Sedona…

I’m still practicing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dimensional principles of the physical world. And getting better at them every day.
